Snapshoot of New York City

It was spring time and the warm sun had just began to go down. The beautiful sky had started to light up with bright colorful lights from many sky scrapers. The flithy streets were filled with endless rows of all kinds of people even though the night sky was indeed coming. Many people were walking home from a stressful day at work, some people were dolled up to go to club. As the lights continued to shine and flash i walked dazingly down the street. I smelt a fresh scent of red velet as i walked by a wonderful bakery. The smell soon fades away to a stench of trash and carbon monixide from the millons of vehicles that drive down the busy street everyday.  I return to the terminal and head to starbucks cofee. It is so busy here i can even smell people colnoge as they walk by. I hear nothing but thosands of loud voices all talking at once. Almost as if they are a bunch of flies who continue to make annoying buzzing sounds. Some people look very dirty and as if they're going to walk over and steal my expensive purse at any minute. It feels very unsafe but the smell of the warm and cozy coffee shop comforts me at the same time.  I noticed one guy happened to be staring with a intense look, i left the terminal. The city continued to be very energized as i walked through a quite urban part of town.

"Saving Face" Of Mice and Men

I think that Curley was upset because his wife was sort of cheating on him and that made him really defensive. He didn't know Lennie at all and he picked a fight with him out of anger towards something his wife did, which isn't fair at all. He defently was acting foolish out of hurt feelings, but so did his wife. His wife was flirting with other guys because she was hurt because Curley hadn't been treating her right and she just wanted a friend to talk to. I think "Saving Face" is both reasonable and cowardice. Resonable because you don't want to look rediculous, but it's cowardice because you could be trying to be something your not.
